Mt. Whitney – A Solo Journey (pre trip thoughts)

Whitney journey unexpectedley became a solo trip yesterday afternoon as the last of my group, Tom backed out. Slightly disappointed and unsure of my direction upon hearing the news, I toured my ever expanding jobsite to clear my head.
I concluded a solo trip would be right in-line with my year of personal exploration. So with my trusty fly-rod and a couple of books I’ll passage through the night into a weekend with no plans except arriving at the top of Mt. Whitney. Considering the solo trip and route of choice I presume my chance of an accident are significantly increased, so should the occasion arise and I peri….here’s the link to a new blog I’m nearing completion on in case I don’t make it back. http://xtremex.wordpress.com/
